Auto Level Setup

1. Setup your tripod as level as possible, step on tripod legs to drive into the fields.
2. Attach Autolevel to the tripod (fix).
3. Adjust level so bubble is centered point in wall.
4. Adjust recital until crosshairs are clear.
5. Adjust the objective lens until object you are sighting on is clear and see The measurement accuracy of the auto level is higher than the dumpy level.

Auto level and dumpy level are two different instruments used in leveling.



Auto LevelDumpy Level
1 In the auto level, no adjustment for staff reading is required as the actual reading is seen from the eyepieceIn the dumpy level survey, staff reading need to be adjusted as inverted level staff reading is seen in the eyepiece.
2In the auto level, the bubble can be adjusted from any side and any angle with any 3 screws available in auto level In the dumpy level, to level the bubble, one has to keep bubble parallel to two leveling screws and then right angle to the third screw.
3The auto level has an internal compenstor mechanism which automatically adjusts the line of sight.Line of sight is manual adjusted in dumpy level.
4The measurement accuracy is better than dumpy level of auto level.
